A NEW REFERENCE IN SPAIN: HERMA

Herma, a new started-up company created to manufacture house-hold care products and detergents for the Spanish Market, has chosen System Logistics as the supplier for their automated warehouse to be located in their new production facility of Caceres, Spain.
The project is dedicated to the storage and distribution of finished products on CHEP euro and dusseldorf pallets in pairs.
The automated warehouse (5.200 pallet locations) is directly connected to the production facilities through 2 AGV which form part of the scope and that deliver all the manufactured pallets to an automated wrapping station prior to be inserted in the warehouse.
Despite being operated by only 2 stacker-cranes, the warehouse is served by one loop of SVL monorail shuttles. The overall solution has been designed for meeting the easy expandability criteria imposed by the new started-up customer.
