A new milestone in the large-scale retail trade: Maxi Di chooses System Logistics' automation

System Logistics has recently finalised a contract for the supply of an automatic storage and internal handling system for Maxi Di Srl, a major Italian player in the large-scale retail sector.

To keep up with new market demands, the company has built a new distribution centre in Vercelli, the second for the Group, and this time has chosen the intralogistics solution proposed by System Logistics to achieve high performance levels in terms of internal handling, storage capacity and shipment management. The project envisages 10 stacker cranes, 34 metres high, serving an automatic warehouse. The warehouse is connected to the manually managed areas by means of overhead hung monorail trolleys, and is capable of providing efficient and timely management of internal handling and shipment preparation.
